The Opportunity

As a Senior QA Analyst, you would be part of the development team at Trailmix who are responsible to help ensure that all of the releases meet the high-quality standards that our players expect in order to make a big impact on our first game, Love and Pies.

Bringing a solid background in QA — ideally from within the games industry — this role suits someone who is hands-on, adaptable, curious and excited by the pace of mobile F2P. Whether it’s through previous experience or genuine passion, a deep appreciation for free-to-play games is key. A versatile mindset and a readiness to dive into new challenges will go a long way here.

Day-to-day

• Get involved by reviewing feature or content specs, sharing thoughts, and shaping smart, efficient test plans
• Responsible for quality — working closely with QA teammates and others make sure everything’s in great shape before going live
• Peer review test plans to help ensure full coverage and learn from each other along the way
• Share ideas to keep improving how we work — we’re always up for better tools, smoother processes, and smarter ways of thinking

About You

• Brings hands-on QA experience from the games industry — mobile F2P exposure is great, but a genuine passion for the genre is what really counts
• Approaches features with curiosity, breaking them down to understand how they work and how they could be improved
• Comfortable building thoughtful test plans using a range of approaches, and always open to learning new techniques
• Understands the ins and outs of live ops in F2P mobile — whether through direct experience or a strong grasp of how content and events keep things engaging
• Knows the value of solid bug workflows and tools like Jira, TestRail and Testmo, but sees process as a means to ship quality, not red tape
• Communicates clearly and works well in a team — sharing ideas, asking questions, and supporting others to deliver great work
• Has some familiarity with in-game analytics or content management tools, with a drive to dig deeper
• Brings an interest in automation and game dev tools — maybe even some time spent exploring Unity or Unreal
